Rotational Molding Plant Manager – Compton, CA

A leading manufacturer of Rotational Molded products has an excellent opportunity for a Plant Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day activities maximizing profitability and manufacturing efficiency of open flame rotational molding production lines. These goals will be achieved through successful implementation of the following tactics: working with sales, engineering, production manager and overseeing the routine maintenance machinery and tooling. The ideal Plant Manager will have experience manufacturing rotomolded products using open flame machines and ovens.  Plant Manager  responsibilities include:

  •  Maximizing production and product quality
  • Managing raw material supply levels
  • Completion of administrative tasks including, but not limited to, report generation, new product information forms, product improvement reports

Plant Manager – York, PA

A small company with a unique innovative plastic resin compounding technology that has tremendous market potential is searching for a Plant Manager. The company is a leader in the development of engineering grade compounds, based on sustainable (recycled) feed streams, and they want to hire an energetic individual with a passion for manufacturing newly developed products to lead a small but hard working and dedicated team. The Plant Manager position is new and reports to the company President, providing a unique opportunity to be a key leader in a rapidly growing business.


  • Twin screw extrusion experience including; feeders, blenders, driers, grinders, chillers and pelletizers.
  • Ability to manage and train manufacturing employees.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a production team in a compounding operation.
  • Ability to communicate with, train, and motivate manufacturing employees.
  • Ability to implement effective standard operating procedures and a quality system.
  • Ability to organize and oversee maintenance and trouble shooting of equipment, as well as, purchasing and installing of new equipment.

Plastic Mold Repair Technician – Mebane, NC


A company manufacturing consumer plastic packaging products is searching for Plastic Mold Repair Technicians to polish, maintain and repair plastic molds on first and second shifts.

Mold Repair Technician Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing mold repair work on cavities and cores due to damage or wear.
  • Noting any changes to molds, inserts, parts, etc.
  • Documenting work and keep accurate records.Dissembling and assembling molds, analyzing and solving basic mold problems including flashing conditions, galling, venting, cooling problems, etc.
  • Assembling, repairing, inspecting, cleaning and polishing molds using skill and care while handling and polishing critical surfaces.Laying out, fabricating and assembling metalworking dies, molds, and machine tool fixtures by analyzing blueprints, sketches, models and engineering or shop specification.
  • Using a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Sets up and operates lathes, milling machines, electrical discharge machines, surface and cylindrical grinders.
  • Interpreting drawings, evaluating machining methods on assignments and occasionally instructing other toolmakers and apprentices in the operation and setup of tool room equipment.
  • Computing dimensions; determining machining and material or parts required. Perform precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions. Solving problems relating to unusual material, work-holding arrangements, machine settings, fabrication methods, and production processes.

Injection Molding Production Team Leader – Mountain, WI

A plastic injection molding manufacturing company is searching for a Production Team Leader.  The Production Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations, playing a key role in providing management and leadership to deliver operation improvements.


  • Promote safety programs and safe work practices.

  • Provide direction, leadership and support for direct reports, empowering and encouraging teamwork.

Injection Molding General Manager – Lincoln, NE


A custom plastic injection molding company is searching for a General Manager.  The General Manager shall direct and coordinate the activities of the company. He or she shall also aid and guide upper management in formulating and administering the organization’s policies. To be considered for this position, an individual must be well acquainted with any and all international standards (ISO9001, ISO14001 and an understanding of TS).

The General Manager will also be responsible for:

  1. Participating in formulating and administering company policies

Education and/or Experience

In order to hold the position of General Manager, an individual must have a bachelor’s degree or fifteen to twenty years of injection molding industry experience and/or training.  Applicant must have fifteen plus years of experience with injection molding and a keen understanding of each role: engineering, machine operator, production, maintenance, process technician, mold design, tooling, quality assurance, sales, materials and accounting.   An equivalent combination of education and experience will also satisfy this requirement.

Language Skills

The General Manager must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. He or she must also have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

The General Manager will be expected to be able to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed styles and/or formats. He or she must possess the ability to effectively present information to top management.


Mathematical Skills

The General Manager must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. He or she must also be able to draw; to compute rate, ratio, and percent; and to interpret bar graphs.

The General Manager must also be able to understand complex blueprints.


Application Development Engineer – Detroit, MI

An automotive plastic resin compounding company specializing in supplying polyolefin resins to the automotive industry is searching for an Application Development Engineer to support the OEM automotive account team.  This is a newly created opening, special training and coaching will be provided in the start-up phase.

The Application Development Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Implementing the marketing strategy for a defined OEM group; GM, Ford and Fiat/Chrysler.
  • Accountability for al European and Japanese landed OEM’s in US focused on VW-Daimler-Renault and Nissan.
  • Driving automotive Masterbatched polyolefin resins for Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
  • Developing an OEM market fact base.
  • Developing an OEM and Strategic partnerships.
  • Setting targets and accomplishing actions.
  • Driving launch of new products/solutions in the OEM market.

Sr. Tooling Engineer – Chicago, IL


A privately-held, international consumer products company, specializing in the design, marketing and manufacturing of high quality, innovative housewares products is searching for a Senior Tooling Engineer.

The Senior Tooling Engineer reports to the Director of Operations and is part of the senior management team for the plant. The Senior Tooling Engineer will lead the activities of tool room employees, contractors or vendors and be responsible for all tool building activities, maintenance and repair. The Sr. Tooling Engineer will also be responsible for customer molding (sample) trials delivering solutions on-time, on budget and in accordance with safety protocols.


  • Manage tool room and inventory of tools and third party production locations.
  • Develop and maintain mold standards and mold documentation.
  • Develop and approve tooling suppliers, new mold designs or modifications, molding processes and metrology.
  • Manage mold construction, mold design review, process design, quality assurance and assembly process. Works with customer blueprints / specifications to generate design and cost feedback.
  • Ensure all product quality attributes are met and all quality systems are supported.
  • Perform analysis on customer returns to determine root cause of failures or complaints.
  • Assist in developing scientific molding expertise of organization through training of manufacturing management, process technicians and manufacturing associates.
  • Implements process control techniques and procedures, trouble shoots and advises on injection molding processes and tooling.
  • Key member of plant safety committee driving implementation of safety system.
  • Co-develop budget, capital requests, and cost improvement planning.
  • Support manufacturing management in lean / continuous improvement activities.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mold making or tool molding environment managing tooling, mold design, mold troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
  • Understanding of CNC cutting processes and injection molding processes.
  • Project management skills and training.
  • Strong trouble shooting skills. Able to analyze and solve complex technical issues related to equipment, injection molds, process and product quality.
  • Proficient with CAD.
