Plastic Mold Repair Technician – Mebane, NC


A company manufacturing consumer plastic packaging products is searching for Plastic Mold Repair Technicians to polish, maintain and repair plastic molds on first and second shifts.

Mold Repair Technician Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing mold repair work on cavities and cores due to damage or wear.
  • Noting any changes to molds, inserts, parts, etc.
  • Documenting work and keep accurate records.Dissembling and assembling molds, analyzing and solving basic mold problems including flashing conditions, galling, venting, cooling problems, etc.
  • Assembling, repairing, inspecting, cleaning and polishing molds using skill and care while handling and polishing critical surfaces.Laying out, fabricating and assembling metalworking dies, molds, and machine tool fixtures by analyzing blueprints, sketches, models and engineering or shop specification.
  • Using a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Sets up and operates lathes, milling machines, electrical discharge machines, surface and cylindrical grinders.
  • Interpreting drawings, evaluating machining methods on assignments and occasionally instructing other toolmakers and apprentices in the operation and setup of tool room equipment.
  • Computing dimensions; determining machining and material or parts required. Perform precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions. Solving problems relating to unusual material, work-holding arrangements, machine settings, fabrication methods, and production processes.

Injection Molding Production Team Leader – Mountain, WI

A plastic injection molding manufacturing company is searching for a Production Team Leader.  The Production Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations, playing a key role in providing management and leadership to deliver operation improvements.

Plant Controller – Milwaukee, WI

A contract plastic injection molding manufacturing company is searching for a Plant Controller.

The Plant Controller will prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization. Analyze financial information to identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.


  • Responsible for financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, AR collections, general ledger/journal entries, payroll, commissions, cash profit sharing, job costing, fixed assets, and cash flow management.
  • Responsible for month end closing functions; including sales and financial reporting.
  • Prepares monthly financial reports by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger and department reports.
  • Ensure all payroll tax reports are prepared and filed, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and all other tax requirements.
  • Prepare budgets for approval by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommend plans to the Leadership Team.
  • Maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) spreadsheets and score boards, ensuring relevant fields are updated weekly.
  • Update KPI schedules for upcoming period, advise Leadership Team members on development of lead and lag KPI measures appropriate for current business objectives. Devise data collection methods and processes to support KPIs.
  • Responsible for year-end closing functions, including year-end audit work papers, 401k census, W2’s and 1099’s, property and sales tax reporting.
  • Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • Benchmark financial performance against similar plastics companies.
  • Supervise and support purchasing department, ensuring sound personnel and processes are in place regarding procurement, inventory management, and price reviews and price changes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Chief Financial Officer.

Job Requirements

A custom plastic injection molding company is searching for a General Manager.  The General Manager shall direct and coordinate the activities of the company. He or she shall also aid and guide upper management in formulating and administering the organization’s policies. To be considered for this position, an individual must be well acquainted with any and all international standards (ISO9001, ISO14001 and an understanding of TS).

The General Manager will also be responsible for:

Education and/or Experience

In order to hold the position of General Manager, an individual must have a bachelor’s degree or fifteen to twenty years of injection molding industry experience and/or training.  Applicant must have fifteen plus years of experience with injection molding and a keen understanding of each role: engineering, machine operator, production, maintenance, process technician, mold design, tooling, quality assurance, sales, materials and accounting.   An equivalent combination of education and experience will also satisfy this requirement.

Language Skills

The General Manager must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. He or she must also have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

The General Manager will be expected to be able to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed styles and/or formats. He or she must possess the ability to effectively present information to top management.


Mathematical Skills

The General Manager must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. He or she must also be able to draw; to compute rate, ratio, and percent; and to interpret bar graphs.

The General Manager must also be able to understand complex blueprints.

Sr. Tooling Engineer – Chicago, IL


A privately-held, international consumer products company, specializing in the design, marketing and manufacturing of high quality, innovative housewares products is searching for a Senior Tooling Engineer.

The Senior Tooling Engineer reports to the Director of Operations and is part of the senior management team for the plant. The Senior Tooling Engineer will lead the activities of tool room employees, contractors or vendors and be responsible for all tool building activities, maintenance and repair. The Sr. Tooling Engineer will also be responsible for customer molding (sample) trials delivering solutions on-time, on budget and in accordance with safety protocols.


  • Manage tool room and inventory of tools and third party production locations.
  • Develop and maintain mold standards and mold documentation.
  • Develop and approve tooling suppliers, new mold designs or modifications, molding processes and metrology.
  • Manage mold construction, mold design review, process design, quality assurance and assembly process. Works with customer blueprints / specifications to generate design and cost feedback.

  • Perform analysis on customer returns to determine root cause of failures or complaints.
