Sales Manager – Schaumberg, IL

A global leader in the plastics industry for over 20 years, the company continues to provide technical business solutions through a holistic approach for the simulation of injection molding processes with our proprietary software. The company focuses on building trusting relationships with customers that instills confidence in mold design and production in injection molding. The organization also offers contract engineering services and provides customer development through education in the training arena and through customer support.
Position Overview: The purpose of the Sales Manager position is to assist in the growth of revenue particularly focused on software sales. The Sales Manager must be highly motivated, organized and a great communicator. The company staff members are highly valued professionals, which the sales manager will be working closely with to; develop sales forecasts and goals, coordinate activities, mentor, coach, and manage the sales process.  

Responsibilities Include:

  • Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and develop annual sales budgets; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new customers by working with sales team members.
  • Implement sales programs by developing sales action plans working with various groups within the company ( i.e. Sales, Engineering, Support, Training).
  • Managing, developing, coaching and motivating the sales team to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and action plan targets are met.
  • Providing on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals.
  • Meeting with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
  • Continually developing knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts.
  • Maintaining data relative to accounts and activities and will document customer interactions through internal database system.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, leadership or sales related focus.
  • 5+ years of displayed inside/outside sales success with 3 years of inside/outside sales department management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills for applying metrics and measurements in a sales environment along with being highly organized.
  • Ability to problem solve and thrive under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English
  • Background in manufacturing or technical related field would be a plus.

 In addition to an annual salary in $110,000 to 115,000 range, the company offers excellent benefits including generous health care insurance package, HSA account with employer contributions, 401k with employer contributions, 3 weeks of vacation to start plus one week vacation over the Christmas Holiday.

Plastic Resin Sales Representative – Midwest, US

A custom engineered plastics resin company specializing in precise color matching is searching for a Sales Representative.  The Sales Representative will work out of a home office located anywhere in the sales territory and cover an area from Minnesota to Missouri.  The company ships custom colors within 4 weeks or less and standard black and natural resins within 2 weeks. Many black and natural resins are readily available in stock. Additionally, the company has stocking programs available in one of many regional warehouses for even faster shipping and receiving.

Compounding Salesperson – Northeastern or Central, United States

A plastic resin compounding company, located in the Northeastern US,  is searching for a Salesperson for the Southeastern Territory.  The company wants a Salesperson who already resides somewhere in the Southeastern U.S. and can work out of a home office.

The company offers an annual base salary in the $80,000 to $100,000 range, a commission/bonus structure, a per mile car allowance, and company paid medical benefits requiring no employee contribution.

Requirements

  • Several years of sales experience.
    •Already residing in the Northeastern, U.S.
    •Experience selling; master batched plastic resins, plastic additives, compounded plastic resins, etc.
    •Own a fairly new automobile.

Application Development Engineer – Detroit, MI

An automotive plastic resin compounding company specializing in supplying polyolefin resins to the automotive industry is searching for an Application Development Engineer to support the OEM automotive account team.  This is a newly created opening, special training and coaching will be provided in the start-up phase.

The Application Development Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Implementing the marketing strategy for a defined OEM group; GM, Ford and Fiat/Chrysler.
  • Accountability for al European and Japanese landed OEM’s in US focused on VW-Daimler-Renault and Nissan.
  • Driving automotive Masterbatched polyolefin resins for Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
  • Developing an OEM market fact base.
  • Developing an OEM and Strategic partnerships.
  • Setting targets and accomplishing actions.
  • Driving launch of new products/solutions in the OEM market.
  • Driving for OEM project portfolios and driving for successful implementation.

In addition to an annual salary in the $100,000 to $130,000 range the company offers; an annual bonus, very competitive benefits including a 401k with matching, and relocation assistance.

Education, Experience and People Skill requirements:

  • Technical four year degree.
  • Ten plus yeas of relevant experience in sales, technical service, product and market development of Polyolefin compounded resins.

Business Development Manager – Manchester, NH

A certified manufacturer of custom components and assemblies for the medical device industry is searching for a Business Development Manager.  Company specialties include; silicone molding (LSR & HCR), medical rubber molding, long-term implantable molding of both silicone and thermoplastics, silicone extrusion, with a focus on combining multiple processes into two-material products.  The ideal candidate will live in the New England area and provide excellent service to existing and potential customers within the territory.

The Business Development Manager will:
• Develop and continue relationships with key customers, pursue leads and potential customers in territory.
• Use existing and new sales tools to identify new opportunities and pursue for results. Build and maintain customer accounts, contacts, opportunities, activity, progress and track business activity in CRM. Properly qualify all customers’ requests for quotes.
• Work with internal team, across the organization, to communicate customer needs and specifications required for quoting purposes.
• Be point of contact with customers to monitor expectations and address questions and requests in timely manner.
• Visit key customers quarterly (at a minimum) to manage account, solicit additional business and follow up on existing projects.
• Attend trade shows, seminars and sales meetings as directed to increase  exposure, follow up on possible leads, maintain relationships and successfully secure additional business.
