Production Supervisor – Tucson, AZ

Description

A long established custom injection molding manufacturing company is searching for a Clean Room Production Supervisor.  The Clean Room Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising clean room personnel to ensure that all medical device assembly lines and molding machines in the Clean Room are running to the documented process, and that the product is conforming to the customer’s quality requirements and specifications. The Supervisor also works with customer service to meet customers’ delivery schedules, and ensures that the Clean Room meets daily output goals through optimal product flow and efficient operations.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

• Have daily meetings with incoming shift personnel to review key production and quality metrics and discuss any issues or concerns from the prior shift.

• The Supervisor shall audit each assembly line and molding press at the beginning of their shift and monitor throughout the day all components, assemblies, and paperwork (QAR, attribute sheets, etc.) for GMP compliance and discrepancies.

• Responsible for performing assembly line start-ups and mold set-ups as required. • The Supervisor shall monitor and insure that all required documented processes are being followed.

• The Supervisor is required to insure the Clean Room stay clean and organized following proper GMP and 5S housekeeping standards.

• Work with key quality and regulatory personnel to  monitor and enforce proper process change control discipline and approval. • Coordinate staffing and training of Clean Room associates • Report on and achieve assembly and molding Clean Room production and quality metrics.

• Shall monitor assembly equipment and molding machinery for problems and fill out maintenance work orders as necessary.

• Shall monitor the condition of all molds and fill out MCA (Mold Corrective Action) to have problems corrected by the tool room. • Perform other duties as set forth by the Plant Manager or Clean Room Production Manager.
